French at Highfield Humanities College

French is taught in one of our five well equipped MFL classrooms, each with full Interactive Whiteboard Technology, which includes a broadband internet connection, amplified sound and links to several computer programs used by the department.

Children in Year 7 visit Paris during the summer term where they practice their French on some of the locals!!!!!

Small groups of pupils also meet with our French Assistant where they can engage in French conversation.

In Year 10 and 11 GCSE French is taken by many pupils as one of their options.
