History

History at Highfield Humanities College

History is taught to all pupils in Key Stage 3 and to pupils opting to take one of our two contrasting GCSE History Courses in Years 10 and 11.

Highfield is one of the UK's Leading Humanities Colleges and History is a lead subject.  This has allowed us to develop close links with the community where we have worked in conjunction with Blackpool Civic Trust, Blackpool Veteran's Association and more recently with Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
