Curriculum Overview KS4

Pupils can opt to study a Modern Foreign Language, French or German.  We are currently using the AQA Specification in all languages. This requires 4 pieces of coursework, two spoken and 2 written, to be submitted over the 2-year cycle, whenever we consider appropriate.  There is a terminal examination in Listening and Reading in May of the final year.

We use the Expo textbook as our main resource but also have Boardworks on the school system and use many additional sites on the internet to ensure that material is up to date.

Trips to the foreign country are arranged when possible to allow enhancement of the language.
