Elizabeth Wright (ne	Mon 31 May 2004 13:06:32 CEST I was at Highfield from 1955 to 1959. Miss Bloomer was head, Miss Stott was deputy head. Ann Taylor was head girl in 1959 Sandra Jackson was deputy head girl. The girls and boys were seperate back then. The teachers I remember are Mrs. Butterworth, Mrs. Kenyon (needlework) Mrs. Bibby, Miss Grimshaw (domestic science) Miss Silcox (art) Miss Butterworth (English & History). Mrs. Penny, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Hall (Physical Training). Miss Stott was my form teacher in 1959. Classmates, Ann Taylor, Sandra Jackson, Dorothy Hampson, Wendy Robinson, Jeanne Dobson, Brenda Maxwell, Maureen Mahon, Valentina Rowlands, Gillian Mileham, Sandra Fogden, Jo Binns, Wendy Rushton.     Anyone out there remember me?

You may remember me as schmorgs, I left highfield at the end of year 11 & moved to sunny melbourne in 1999. I came back last year for a holiday & caught up with a few old school friends, it was good to see some of you. If anyone can remember me, please contact me. I would love to here from you!!!

I'm at blackpool sixth form now studying dance, theatre studies and human biology, and bein as good as ever I've kept in touch with alot of ppl from highfield. We've all stuck together at college. Brian Holloway	Mon 17 May 2004 06:31:30 CEST Had some good times at the School. My class was about one of the last all boys classes before the classes became mixed. I left Blackpool after Highfield to join the Army and after a few years traveling ended up in Nottingham working in an FE College.
