 | Mon 31 May 2004 13:06:32 CEST I was at Highfield from 1955 to 1959. Miss Bloomer was head, Miss Stott was deputy head. Ann Taylor was head girl in 1959 Sandra Jackson was deputy head girl. The girls and boys were seperate back then. The teachers I remember are Mrs. Butterworth, Mrs. Kenyon (needlework) Mrs. Bibby, Miss Grimshaw (domestic science) Miss Silcox (art) Miss Butterworth (English & History). Mrs. Penny, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Hall (Physical Training). Miss Stott was my form teacher in 1959. Classmates, Ann Taylor, Sandra Jackson, Dorothy Hampson, Wendy Robinson, Jeanne Dobson, Brenda Maxwell, Maureen Mahon, Valentina Rowlands, Gillian Mileham, Sandra Fogden, Jo Binns, Wendy Rushton.
