 | Thu 16 Jan 2003 12:30:39 CET Well after leaving Highfield with dissapointing grades, (my own fault) i enroled at Blackpool & Fylde College to study Leisure & tourism but later decided that i wanted to follow in Keith Minton's footsteps (god bless and rest in peace), and become musical, so i have just signed a 12 month contract as a singer on the Walt Disney Cruise ship. It is thanks to Mr. Minton that i decided to do this as i never thought about it myself, but him pushing me to sing a solo of his own song 'On that first Christmas Day' at the Christmas service made me think why not? Maybe one day in the future i will sing it again at the christmas service in memory of him. Anyway.....i will enjoy cruising around with the Disney cast, but hope to audition next year for West End musicals such as 'My Fair Lady' or 'Phantom of the Opera' Whatever mistakes i made at Highfield, i got my dream in the end. P.s. Hello Mrs. McMahon x |

 | Tue 07 Jan 2003 15:23:21 CET After leaving Highfield High I moved to Australia with my family. I have lost contact with everyone from the school and would love to get in contact with people who knew me especially Louise Turner. Australia is an excellent place I have achieved many wonderful dreams that 12 years ago I thought would never have been possible. I went to the Victorian College of the Arts to do a Bachelor of Fine Art (Photography) publishing my photographs in magazines, book-covers and CD covers, then I went on to do a Postgraduate Bachelor of Teaching. Currently I am working in a Primary School teaching Visual Arts and painting (i hope to have an exhibition soon). If anyone who was at the school knows me, please contact. |
