Marc Richardson	Thu 12 Dec 2002 20:47:01 CET I went to Highfield from '87 to '92  I am one half of a twin (the other is Simon)  I left Blackpool in 97 and went to London. In 1999 I went to live in Virginia U.S.A where I am a blueprint surveyer.  I am still in America and doing well! I hope Mrs Heather Young is still there! If so can you say Marc says Hi!  If any one else remembers me then get in touch. It's great to see/read what everyone I remember is up to  Thanks Mr. Westhorpe  Marc

Went to college when I left school and became a qualified nursery nurse, I now work in a family center.  It's now the Ten year anniversary since i left school - SCARY. All you young ones, take note: when you're told how quickly time will fly - believe them!!!!
Kathleen Parkinson (	Wed 04 Dec 2002 10:53:28 CET When I was at Highfield it was a Secondary Modern School.  The Headmistress was Miss Bloomer and the boys and girls were completely segregated.  A few years after leaving I went in to Social Work and qualified from what was them Preston Polytechnic. In 1987 I accepted a post with the Isle of Man Government. It has been a very fulfilling career and my post on retirement 3 years ago was Senior Manager for Disability Services.    Not bad for a girl from Highfield.    My years there were very happy and I remember going on my first trip abroad with the school to Holland and it was magical. I loved sport and was Captain of Wyre House in my final year and I was a prefect in that year as well.    My sincere best wishes to anyone that remembers me and I hope Highfield High continues to flourish for many years to come. It was and is a very special place.

I miss school now that I'm all grown up with three kids of my own! and would especially like to hear from any of my old mates.Gemma Holt, Jenny Mackay, Rebecca'boris'Singleton,Ali Crosbie, Linzi Armstrong, you know who you are!  P.S. I can't believe that some of you teachers are still there,you were old then, you must be really ancient now!!!
