 | Thu 07 Nov 2002 03:24:03 CET Gosh where to start? The last 35 years in a nutshell. I left Highfield and England, immigrating to Australia in 1965. Started working the government in mid 1966, they sent me to Perth for a year. Then traveling as far as Africa to Japan and the USA. Spending two years in LA (lovely place) where I met my partner. While in the US, I was able to visit a place called Dam Neck in Virginia. While on the east coast I took the opportunity to visit England. Yes, made it to Blackpool but didn?t visit the Highfield. Arrived back in Sydney in 1976 and set up house. The first child a girl arrived in 80 another girl in 82 and a boy in 85. Life more or less settled down and didn?t travel all that much. In 86, I left he government job and moved to the private sector, presently working for IBM. In 98 divorced which made me reevaluate my life. Under took some a major change in my life and been riding the crest of the wave since. I think much to the surprise of Mr. Yates who I?m sure thought I wouldn?t amount to much. Went to night to school, getting my High School Certificate, and Degree in Information Technology. Presently I?m in finishing (2002) my second year in a Master of Business Administration. Fancy that still at school aged 51. I?ve had an interesting life, much more that what is here. I?ll leave it here. Hope to hear from you soon. |
