Living and working in Rochdale.Still married to Joanne Summersgill,as was.Father to precocious child,Harriet.
Would like to say thanks to Chris Young for allowing me to steal her teaching style(if she's still there)and to reassure her that I did in fact learn to use apostrophes of possession.
Also stayed in touch with Adrian Webster, and am pleased to report that the pair of us(geeks though we were/are) are doing well.

I was wondering if Mrs Castick had anything to do with the music selected for the page. Anybody who ever went on a French trip would know what im talking about.its good to see that Mr Digman is still there talking about rugby no doubt. Hope everyone is well from Alex down under.

Oh those were the days!!! Strange to think back to the days of mixing strange chemicals in Mr Westhope's class. Its amazing that you can end up a scientist after all that!! Cheers!

Hi to everyone I used to know. I'm now at Salford Uni studying Occupational Therapy and working part-time for the Civil Service in debt collection - Uni is very expensive!! I live with my boyfriend and six other friends in a HUGE house where we have a great time. I'm due to graduate in June 2003 and will be hitting the hospitals as a fully qualified health professional in August, so watch out!!! Thanks to everyone at Highfield for helping me get where I am now

I have many but most couldn't be published.
My five years at Highfield were some of the happiest of my life. If I could be paid to come back and go through it all again I would do so gladly.
My mum always used to say that I should take my bed to school as I never wanted to leave and go home at night.
Steve Hardy and I have often spent long evenings remembering weekends at Snows, girls, school plays where Reg Shore used to make us do ridiculous things, more girls, more trips to Snows ( things are often repeated as there is usually Whiskey involved when we get together and we did go to Snows quite a lot, even after we left school). We remember Auntie Jean (Ingham), Auntie Anne ( Hindley), Mum (Chris Young), Mel Seed, Ray Williams, Pete Westhorpe (who always seemed more like one of us than a member of staff - but then he was only about twelve!)Francesca Fatori, Gill Rowe and more girls. Who could forget the iron man Mr Yates, a great deputy head who everyone was scared of.
The school really does hold some fantastic memories. If the current students have half as good a time at Highfield as we experienced, they will remember their time with many fond memories.
Sincere thanks to any and all staff who were involved in making the five years so special.

What a great idea - well done Mr W!!!

Would like to take this opportunity to thank the school for supporting my hubby's camping & outdoor business which sadly closed at end of August.

It's thanks to Highfield that I developed a passionate love for the outdoors - a big hello to anyone who remembers me, hope to hear from someone soon - will visit again...
