A message to all Blackpool Parents from the Police. Officers from Blackpool South Police Station are clamping down on anti-social behaviour, including under age drinking and criminal damage. You may be aware that there have been a number of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour incidents in the area of Louis Horrocks Park located on Lytham Road and the surrounding streets. Large groups of youths have been congregating and causing problems to the local residents. The consumption of alcohol is also a contributing factor. Officers from Blackpool South Police Office will be targeting the area and anyone found consuming alcohol under age, causing criminal damage or anti-social behaviour will be dealt with accordingly be it they are returned home, issued with a Fixed Penalty or even arrested. Can you please ask your child where they are going and who with and advise them to act responsibly whilst out. It is also believed that youths are arranging to meet via the MSM Messenger. Do you know who your child is talking to via MSM? Thank you on Behalf of Blackpool South Neighbourhood Policing Team |
