Teenage litterbugs and their parents are being taught an important lesson in respecting their community. Pick up your litter or pick up a fine! If you drop litter - you may be in for a BIG surprise! Blackpool Borough Council togeter with other local councils are preparing to get to grips with litter and use new powers to punish people who don't use bins. Outward Bound Weeks Nearly Cancelled | |

Outward Bound Weeks go ahead despite recent difficulty of getting approval from Blackpool Borough Council. Strict Council rules regarding teachers being present on all approved visits looked like stopping Highfield's long tradition of independant Outward Bound Courses taking place. BOTH COURSES HAVE NOW RETURNED AND BOTH WERE HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED.
