Work Experience

This year all of our Year 10 pupils will participate in Work Experience from Monday 2nd July to Friday 13th July 2012.  This gives young people the opportunity to experience life outside of school.  A chance to meet new people, take responsibility for themselves and see what a real work environment is like.

Work Experience is also an opportunity for local businesses to get involved and help teach our youth something about becoming an adult and earning a living.  We have always had excellent help and support from our local community and this is greatly appreciated.  For many students, this will be the first experience of what life after school could be like.  This will give our pupils a much better insight into what opportunities and demands may be made on them as adults and encourage them to maximise their learning opportunities when they return to school.
