humanitiesSuper Learning Days

We have three Super Learning Days throughout the academic year.  These are days when the normal school timetable is suspended and pupils follow a specialised timetable for the day.

Super Learning Days allow teachers to undertake exciting and innovative lessons covering important subjects that fall outside the normal school curriculum.  They allow guest speakers to come into school to share their expertise and they also allow groups to leave school to undertake off-site activities.

Attendance

Attendance on a Super Learning Day is compulsory and forms part of our school year, covering several parts of the curriculum e.g. Enterprise, Education, Careers, Teenage Health, which are statutory requirements of the National Curriculum.  Parents are asked to ensure their child attends school promptly on the day, as a late start can cause problems.

School starts at 08:45am

School finishes at 1:40pm
