Highfield Humanities College has a strict Uniform Policy which we expect all pupils to wear.  We uphold traditional standards of dress, discipline, courtesy and good manners. 

Please see below our full Uniform Policy. 

  • Uniform at Highfield 2009-2010
  • UNIFORM

    GIRLS

    ·   Blazer: Royal blue with school crest

    ·   Skirt or Trousers: Blue checked skirt; no shorter than 7.5cm above the knee.  Plain black trousers

    ·   Blouse Yr 7,8,9: White collar, short/long sleeves

    ·   Blouse Yr 10,11: White tailored, v-necked revered collar, short/long sleeves

    ·   Summer Shirt: White, polo, embroidered with school crest

    ·   Tie Yr 7,8,9: Striped blue

    ·   Tie Yr 10,11: Blue with motif [optional]

    ·   Socks: Black or white

    ·   Shoes: Black ONLY suitable and safe style for school.  BOOTS, TRAINERS, CANVAS, BALLET OR ‘DOLLY’ SHOES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Heels should be low and PLATFORMS are unacceptable as are shoes with white or coloured laces/tops [Timberland Style]

    ·   Jumper: Plain black, v-necked, long sleeved jumper 

    BOYS

    ·   Blazer: Royal blue with crest

    ·   Trousers: Black

    ·   Shirt: Plain white formal, short/long sleeves

    ·   Summer Shirt: White, polo, embroidered with school crest

    ·   Tie Yr 7,8,9: Striped blue

    ·   Tie Yr 10,11: Blue with motif

    ·   Socks: Black or white

     PE EQUIPMENT See Mrs Rawcliffe about the optional alternative PE Kit – polo shirt, tracksuit bottoms and outdoor coat.

    BOYS

    ·   Rugby Shirt: Emerald green body, royal blue sleeves and collar with royal blue chest band inside

    ·   Athletics Vest: Emerald green with royal blue vertical band down right side

    ·   Shorts: Royal blue, plain, self-coloured

    ·   Rugby Socks: Emerald green with royal blue top /  Socks: White ankle socks/trainer socks

    ·   Plimsolls: White Trainers - must not be high sided

    ·   Black Football boots / Shin Pads

    GIRLS

    ·   Hockey Shirt: Emerald green body, royal blue sleeves and collar with royal blue chest band inside

    ·   Athletics Vest: Emerald green with royal blue vertical band down right side

    ·   Briefs or shorts [optional]: Royal blue, self coloured

    ·   Skirt [optional]: Royal blue, self coloured

    ·   Rugby Socks: Emerald green with royal blue top / Socks: White ankle socks/trainer socks

    ·   Plimsolls: White Trainers: Must not be high sided

    ·   Black Football Boots / Shin Boots

    ·   Dance [GCSE only]: Black leotard, black leggings, Highfield green polo shirt [These items are available to purchase from school]

     

     JEWELLERY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE :

    ·   Only one small pair of stud earrings in each ear; NO other piercings will be allowed

    NOT ACCEPTABLE: Casual sweatshirt or ‘hoodie’ Denim clothes
